Frequently asked questions
Is Calculis free?
Yes: every game, solo or against someone, in every game mode, with no ads. All you need is a Google account to log in.
What does Supporter give?
Supporter is a one-time, lifetime purchase to support the game: a badge next to your pseudo and a color of your choice, seen by your opponents, and every future game mode included. It gives no advantage in a game. You buy it from the Settings.
Can I play on a phone?
Yes: Calculis is played in the browser, on a phone as on a computer, with nothing to download. The pages fit the screen and a number pad shows up to answer.
Can I install it as an app?
Yes. With Chrome or Edge, on Android as on a computer, the game offers to install it at the end of a game. On an iPhone, in Safari, tap Share then “Add to Home Screen”. It then opens like an app, and can tell you when it’s your turn.
Can I play against a friend?
Yes: open their profile, from a game played against them or with the link to their profile, tap Challenge and pick the game mode. They get a notification and accept the challenge from Home. You then play the same levels, each at your own pace.
And with no friend to play with?
Find an opponent from the Play page: the game starts with another player searching in the same game mode, or in any of them. You have 48 hours to play each level, and a notification tells you when it’s your turn.
Can I play alone?
Yes: solo, go as far as you can, the first mistake ends the game. There’s no rush between two levels. Your best level is kept for each game mode.
How does the difficulty rise?
There’s no difficulty to pick: each level passed makes the next one a little harder, with longer series and bigger numbers. Solo, your form, the average level of your latest games, lets you start further on.
How do I delete my account?
In the Settings, tap Delete, then log in again with Google to confirm. The account can’t be used from then on, and it’s deleted with your data within a day. Your games against someone in progress are lost by forfeit; finished ones stay in your opponents’ history, without your pseudo.
